CMA and Météo-France continue to deepen cooperation of met science and technology

On March 23, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and Météo-France held the sixth session of Joint Working Group. The session was chaired by Dr. Zheng Guoguang, Administrator of CMA. Mr. Jean-Marc Lacave, CEO of Météo-France and his team attended the meeting.

Dr. Zheng expressed his thanks to supports of Météo-France. He says since the Cooperation Agreement has been signed in 1998, two Services have developed the fruitful cooperation in the aspects of weather forecast, climate research, training, etc. The cooperation has improved the ability in meteorological science and technology of the two Services and made positive contributions to the economic and social development of two countries. He hopes two Services could continue to maintain the  friendship and develop it to a higher stage, hence further promoting the development of meteorological services in our two countries.
