A plane-laboratory was created in Russia for the first time during the last quarter of the century. Many important persons took part in the opening ceremony: Adviser of the Russian President on climate problems Alexander Bedritsky, Adviser of Russian President academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Zalikhanov, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergey Donskoy, head of Roshydromet Alexander Frolov, executive vice-president of United Aircraft Corporation Alexander Tulyakov, deputy head of Federal Space Agency Anatoly Shilov, and also representatives of the Military-industrial commission, Ministry of Defence of Russia, Emercom of Russia, etc.
"It’s impossible to solve any ecological problem without high-quality monitoring, it was much spoken about this at the Congress on environmental protection which finished its work a few days ago.
