The 2014 nationally-averaged surface temperature in the Russian Federation tied with 2013 was the 6th highest on record since the beginning of instrumental observation in 1891. It’s considerably conceded to record-breaking 2007. The warmest ten years belong to 21 century.
2014 was warmer than average in the most of the country, except Urals, Volga and the western part of Siberian Federal Districts (FD), where the average annual temperature was close to normal.
