For three weeks, SMHI in Norrköping (Sweden) has hosted close to 30 officials from East Africa. They are taking part in an education programme on climate change and on how societies can adapt to an altered climate and prevent crises.

SMHI will be conducting a total of nine climate education programmes over a five-year period. Around 250 decision-makers from nine African countries will participate, all in all.
