The Nigerian Meteorological Agency in collaboration with the International Fund for Agricultural Development – Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises- Niger Delta (IFAD-LIFE ND) of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development embarked on an awareness creation and capac
ity building workshop. This two-day workshop held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria from the 17th to 18th November 2021.It was targeted at strengthening of stakeholders in the State and the Niger Delta Region’s understanding of climate information and its application in the Agricultural value chain.
This is one of the collaborative ways NiMet takes its message to the grassroots. NiMet will use the feedback and information gathered from these workshops to improve relevant products and services.
