WMO Members from Oceania and WMO/RIC Tsukuba visit the Fiji Meteorological Service for on-the-job training in meteorological instrument calibration

Two technical experts from WMO/RIC Tsukuba visited the Fiji Meteorological Service (FMS) from 29 October to 13 November 2015 to attend the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) third country training program as instructors. Ten trainees from nine countries (the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Nauru and Fiji) participated in the program as part of the JICA Project for Reinforcing the Meteorological Training Functions of FMS.
