WMO Programmes
The GDPFS is an international mechanism that coordinates Member capacities to prepare and make meteorological analyses and forecast products available to all Members. It enables delivery of harmonized services and is currently organized as a network of Global, Regional and National Centres.

The North Eurаsian Climate Center (NEACC) held the 21th session of the North Eurasian Climate Outlook Forum (NEACOF-21) in Moscow from 22 to 26 November 2021 as a part of the International Young Scientists School and the Сonference on Computational Information Technologies for Environmental Sciences in commemoration of RAS (Russian Academy of Sciences) Corresponding Member Vasily Lykosov. Participation in the event also was available via Internet resources.

Climate characterizes the average weather conditions for a particular location over a long period of time. WMO actively coordinates the study of the climate, its variations, extremes and change over the past, present and the future. In close collaboration with user agencies, WMO also supports the study of climate impacts on a variety of socio-economic sectors to support evidence-based decision-making on how to best to manage the risks of climate variability and adapt to a changing climate, to ensure human safety and well-being.
