Roseline Devillier

Ms Roseline Devillier is a Coordination Officer for UN System Decision Support and Processes at the WMO New York Office.

In her role, she is supporting the WMO Representative to the United Nations to establish and maintain critical links between WMO and the United Nations Secretariat, Permanent Missions of Member States to the United Nations, other UN System organizations and other entities headquartered in New York and elsewhere in North America, with relevance to WMO’s mandate.

Previously, Ms Roseline Devillier’s work at WMO involved supporting the effort of the climate branch, where she launched the Climate Risk Early Warning Systems’ Secretariat (CREWS) and the Systematic Observations Financing Facility initiative (SOFF) at COP25. In 2020, she joined the Cabinet of the Secretary-General as a Coordination Officer.

Ms Roseline Devillier’s career with the United Nations started when she joined the UN Secretariat in New York, USA in 2008, after having worked in the private sector in Paris, France.

She joined the Department of Field Support, in the United Nations to ensure coordination toward several Peacekeeping Missions. In 2014, she moved to the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) and had the opportunity to join the UN REDD Team within UNDP. She was one of the key actors in the launch of the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI).
