From 13 June to 26 August 2022, the World Calibration Center for UV will organize the third International UV Filter Radiometer comparison (UVC-III) as part of the WMO/GAW program.

Institutes which would like to participate should contact G. Hülsen (gregor [dot] huelsenatpmodwrc [dot] ch (gregor[dot]huelsen[at]pmodwrc[dot]ch)) or J. Gröbner (julian [dot] Groebneratpmodwrc [dot] ch (julian[dot]Groebner[at]pmodwrc[dot]ch)).

The characterization and calibration activities will cover:

  • Spectral Responsivity
  • Angular Responsivity
  • Solar irradiance responsivity calibration traceable to the SI (supported by CMC's within the CIPM MRA*)

The calibration is free-of-charge, instrument shipping costs are the responsibility of the participants.

PMOD/WRC follows the requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories according to ISO/IEC 17025. PMOD/WRC is a designated institute of the Swiss Federal Office of Metrology, the Swiss signatory of the CIPM MRA (International Committee for Weights and Measures - Mutual Recognition Arrangement).
