About IG3IS

The Integrated Global Greenhouse Gas Information System (IG3IS) is a common framework that combines atmospheric observations and analysis tools to improve information on the emissions and uptake of greenhouse gases (GHGs) at decision-relevant scales. The applications include national-scale emission evaluation, as well as urban- and sectoral-scale solutions. The IG3IS community develops good practices for applications across different scales and sectors. User community engagement in product creation is essential. The outputs of IG3IS can support national and smaller-scale mitigation policies, help identify opportunities for emission reduction, and track progress toward emission-reduction goals.

Coordination of IG3IS activities and organization of this webinar series is supported by NASA, under award N. 80NSSC23K1349
