State of the Climate in Africa 2024 Report Launch
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) will release its flagship State of the Climate in Africa in 2024 report on 12 May 2025. This annual publication provides authoritative information on climate patterns and their impacts across the African continent.
The launch event will bring together high-level representatives from African governments, UN agencies, scientific institutions, and development partners. Participants will explore key findings from the report and engage in discussions on strengthening resilience, supporting early warning systems, and accelerating climate-smart investment and adaptation efforts in Africa.
