5th Advisory Panel of Early Warnings for All
The fifth meeting of the Advisory Panel for the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative will be convened at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). Established to guide the implementation of EW4All, the Panel is co-chaired by UNDRR and WMO and brings together representatives from governments, the private sector, civil society, and youth. With a mandate to assess progress, build political momentum, mobilize resources, and monitor scientific and technical advancements, the Panel reports annually to the UN Secretary-General. This fifth session takes place at a critical juncture, marking three years of EW4All implementation amid intensifying climate and hazard-related risks. The meeting will reaffirm early warnings as a global public good, adopt a joint high-level statement to accelerate action, and foster inclusive dialogue on member commitments. Building on the outcomes of the June 2025 Multi-Stakeholder Forum, it will advance financing, partnerships, and practical measures to ensure the sustainability of EW4All beyond 2027 and help shape policy and resource mobilization efforts in the lead-up to COP30.
