Regional Workshop: Translating advances in ENSO research to operations in Latin America and the Caribbean

Overview
As part of a new regional webinar series, this event will focus on improving the connection between scientific research and operational applications within Regional Climate Centres (RCCs) and National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The first webinar in the series, titled “Translating advances in ENSO research to operations in Latin America and the Caribbean”, will explore how recent scientific developments on the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) can better inform climate services, planning, and decision-making.
Simultaneous interpretation will be available in Spanish and English.
Audience
This event is intended for experts from RCCs, NMHSs, academic institutions, and other regional partners involved in climate services and science-policy engagement.
