BIP-MT in Action: Practical Insights from Lesotho and Argentina

This webinar will explore how two WMO Members are implementing the revised Basic Instruction Package for Meteorological Technicians (BIP-MT). Ms. Colleen N. Rae will share the approach taken by the Lesotho Meteorological Service, while Dr. Romina Mezher will discuss the longstanding meteorological observer course for Spanish-speaking countries in WMO Regional Associations III and IV, and how it has been adapted to align with the new BIP-MT standards. Presenters will highlight key successes, challenges encountered, and practical strategies for integrating the updated standards into national training programs.
