WMO event on Climate Services to Enhance Access to Climate Finance for Senior Directors of NMHSs

The event has two segments; the first segment (22–23 September 2025) will focus on the knowledge-sharing and best practices under the Global/Regional Frameworks for Climate Services (GFCS/RFCS), this segment will support the implementation of National Frameworks for Climate Services (NFCS) through collaboration with the Standing Committee on Climate Services (SC-CLI), SERCOM. 

The second segment (24–26 September 2025) will be dedicated to enhancing the role of NMHSs in mobilizing climate finance especially at the national and regional levels based on the WMO publication Enhancing the Role of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services in Mobilizing Climate Finance at the National Level (WMO-No. 1365). This segment will also address the leadership development of Directors of NMHSs, improve strategic thinking, and foster partnerships.
