Governance Document Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS).

Adopted by the Steering Committee on 12 September 2016. 

- Revised by the Steering Committee on 9 November 2016 – paragraph 13, reference added to allow the Implementing Partners to receive funds in relation to the CREWS Administrative Costs. 

- Revised by the Steering Committee on 14 June 2018 – paragraph 14, change made to the reporting line of the Head of the CREWS Secretariat to the Director of the Development Partnerships Office (DPO) at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). 

- Revised by the Steering Committee on 10 May 2019 – paragraph 14, to ensure compliance with the approved Proposal for Simplified and Harmonized CREWS Secretariat Staff Appointment Modalities. 

- Revised by the Steering Committee on 7 November 2019 – paragraph 14, change made to the reporting line of the Head of the CREWS Secretariat to the Director of the Cabinet Office of the Secretary General at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

This Governance Document describes governance structure and the operating principles and procedures for the CREWS Initiative. The Governance Document was approved by the Steering Committee on 12 September 2016 and subsequently revised.
