The weather in Germany in November 2020 - Deutscher Wetterdienst

Offenbach, 30 November 2020 – Persistent influence of high pressure over south-east Europe kept central Europe mostly free from low pressure areas, bringing a good 85 hours of sunshine and thus delivering the third-sunniest November in Germany since measurements began in 1951. This has been announced by the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) after an initial analysis of the observations from its approximately 2000 measuring stations. November was also significantly too warm, as low pressure over the British Isles repeatedly sent mild air from a south-westerly direction to Germany. At the same time, the month happened to be far too dry.
