WIGOS Implementation Workshop for WMO RA II held

From November 27 to 30, WIGOS Implementation Workshop for World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Regional Association II (Asia) was held in Beijing, at which meteorologists and scholars from 22 countries and territories were present.

Aimed to ramp up the contribution of the observation field to the Early Warnings for All Initiative proposed by the United Nations, this event provides support for the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP28) and input to the Eighteenth session of the Regional Association II (Asia) scheduled for 2024.
