Émile Zerbo

Émile Zerbo, born in 1977, is a magistrate by training. He holds a degree in legal sciences from the University of Ouagadougou and graduated from the École Nationale d’Administration et de Magistrature (ENAM). Before joining the government, he served as Procureur du Faso at the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Ouaga II and led the specialised judicial unit for counterterrorism. Appointed in June 2023, Minister Zerbo oversees national territorial governance, decentralization, and mobility. His ministry enhances the government’s capacity to deliver services, manage population movements, and ensure rapid communication across regions. These efforts directly support early warning dissemination and community preparedness.
