Samuel Nartey George
Samuel Nartey George (born 1985) is the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations of Ghana and a Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram. Educated at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Agricultural Engineering), the University of London (LLB), and the London School of Economics (MSc), he has also pursued diplomas in ICT and strategic leadership. Appointed Minister in 2025, he oversees Ghana’s digital infrastructure, communications policy, and innovation ecosystem. In the context of early-warning systems, his portfolio is critical to ensuring effective last-mile dissemination of alerts via mobile networks, digital platforms, and broadcast media, making technology a cornerstone of climate resilience efforts.
