Dr. Lidia Huaman

Dr. Lidia Huaman is a Lead Applied Meteorologist at AccuWeather. She holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M University and brings over a decade of experience conducting research across a wide range of meteorological datasets. Her work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international conferences. Since joining AccuWeather in 2021, Dr. Huaman has been an integral part of the Data Science team, where she is responsible for day-to-day efforts in the development, integration, and execution of AccuWeather’s weather technology initiatives. She is deeply committed to advancing innovative weather solutions that empower individuals and businesses to better prepare for the impacts of extreme weather.
