Observe and monitor

WMO provides observations on the state of the atmosphere and ocean surface from ‌land-based and space-based instruments.

This data is used for preparing weather analyses, forecasts, advisories and warnings, and for the climate monitoring and environmental activities carried out through other programmes, as well as by other international organizations.
