Webinar: Assessing the Socioeconomic Benefits of Hydrological Monitoring in RA V

The objective of the webinar is to increase awareness, knowledge and interest of WMO Members to conduct SEB assessments.  The webinar provides a platform for introducing the following areas: 

•    Socioeconomic benefits (SEB) of hydrological monitoring – an overview; 

•    Practical guidance for evaluating socioeconomic benefits – WMO-WB-GFDRR-USAID 10-steps procedure;

 •    Data needed to conduct SEB assessments; 

•    Methods and tools required to measure SEBs; 

•    Get an overview of one NMHS that has conducted SEB analysis (TBD).
