Objectives:

The work of the Expert Team on the Guide to Agricultural Meteorological Practices (ET-GAMP) is related to Output (a) of the SC-AGR TORs on “(a) Updated Guide to Agricultural Meteorological Practices (WMO-No. 134)”.

The Terms of reference for the ET-GAMP are therefore to:

  • Undergo a systemic review chapter by chapter of the Guide to Agricultural Meteorological Practices (WMO-No. 134);
  • Identify and discuss any changes to existing list of chapters;
  • Develop a workplan to update the GAMP and present to SC-AGR;
  • Implement this workplan along with the WMO Secretariat;
  • Provide periodic updates to SC-AGR on the progress of the revision;

ET-GAMP meetings:

  • 2nd meeting of the ET-GAMP, 30 April 2025
  • 1st meeting of the ET-GAMP, 24 October 2024
