As the National Meteorological Service and a proud member of the WMO community, Met Éireann monitors, analyses and predicts Ireland’s weather, climate and flooding and provides Irish society and decision-makers with world-class services in order to protect life and property, and to promote wider societal and economic well-being. As a scientific and technical organisation, we strive to utilise the latest technological and scientific advances in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy of its forecasts.
