Dr. Kijazi argues collaborative efforts in GFCS Phase II focusing on implementation of the NFCS - Tanzania Meteorological Agency
On 17th September 2018, World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in collaboration with Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) organized a technical workshop on the Global Framework for Climate Services Adaptation Programme in Africa (GFCS APA) phase II, which took place at Golden Jubilee Tower, in Dar es Salaam. The objectives of the workshop were; to review lessons learnt, experiences and best practice of GFCS project phase I; to review partner work plans and identification of areas in project delivery; to review and finalize the monitoring and evaluation plan and establish a project work plan (with detailed initial project activities).
