Commemorating 75 years of WMO Science for Action
A special event hosted by the Diplomatic Club of Geneva for the international Geneva community will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). It will highlight the vital importance of international cooperation, which is central to the mandate of the WMO, in addressing the challenges posed by climate change. The event will also emphasize that unity and solidarity remain fundamental in facing this global issue. Only through collective and coordinated action can the international community safeguard the planet for future generations.
