Florence Colleoni

Dr Florence Colleoni is a glaciologist and paleoclimatologist at the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS) in Trieste, since 2018. She obtained her PhD in 2009 in numerical modeling of past glaciations at the University of Grenoble, France. Her research focuses on studying the past evolution of polar ice sheets using coupled atmosphere-ocean and ice-sheet numerical models. She is the co-chair of the Scientific Committee of Antarctic Research programme INSTANT - Instabilities and Thresholds in Antarctica since 2021 together with Tim Naish.
