Reporting to the Deputy Secretary-General
The Deputy Secretary-General leads the substantive scientific work of the Organization coordinated in the following departments:
- Department of Earth Systems Data and Predictions (Anthony Rea)
- Department of Science, Services and Capacity Development (Veronique Bouchet)
In addition, the Deputy Secretary-General supervises the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Secretariat (Abdalah Mokssit).
