Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik

Dr. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik is a senior meteorologist at the Storm Warning Center, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), Dhaka. Born on 31 July 1976 in Barishal, he holds a Ph.D. in Meteorology and has extensive expertise in weather forecasting, numerical weather prediction, and climate analysis. Dr. Mallik has published over 80 scientific papers on tropical cyclones, monsoon dynamics, thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, heat waves, and climate variability over Bangladesh and the Bay of Bengal. He has represented Bangladesh in numerous international conferences and training programs under WMO, ESCAP, and ISRO. His research significantly advances meteorological science and disaster risk reduction in Bangladesh.
