天气、气候、水与环境研究理事会（研究理事会）负责将WMO的战略目标以及执行理事会和大会的决定转化为总体研究重点，并动员国际协作以实现这些目标。

通过其工作，研究理事会确保：

·       WMO会员的科技需求与时俱进。

Research Programmes

WMO Science and Research in Action

Since its establishment, WMO has coordinated international research and advanced Earth system science to save lives and livelihoods, and to support socioeconomic development and well-being. These short videos introduce WMO’s scientific bodies—the Research Board and the Scientific Advisory Panel—and WMO-sponsored and co-sponsored research programmes: the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW), the World Weather Research Programme (WWRP) and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP).
