The RA III Focal Point for Operational Weather Radars (RA III-FP-OWR) works under the Expert Team on WMO Integrated Observing System (RA III-ET-WIGOS) to share regional guidance on radar standards, maintenance, and data processing. It establishes an ad-hoc group to develop regional policies for radar data sharing and formats for international data exchange. The RA III-FP-OWR also leads technical training on radar data exploitation and represents its ad-hoc team within the Committee on Infrastructure.
