WMO-IATA Collaborative AMDAR Programme (2020-2024)
The WMO-IATA Collaborative AMDAR Programme (WICAP) was a joint project of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

WICAP was developed with the aim of building upon and enhancing the existing, operational WMO Aircraft Meteorological Data Relay (AMDAR) observing system over currently data-sparse areas of the globe.
