The RA III Expert Team on Disaster Risk Reduction Services (RA III-ET-DRR) works under the Committee on Services (RA III-C-SER) to promote multi-hazard early warning systems to minimize losses from environmental hazards. Collaborating with SC-DRR, it builds Member capacity and implements frameworks like the WMO Coordination Mechanism for humanitarian action. The Team integrates DRR through joint hazard and vulnerability analysis, fosters external partnerships, and advances Business Continuity Management training with Regional Training Centres.
