The Expert Team on WIS Operations (ET-WISOP) coordinates and supports the implementation and operation of WIS2 Nodes, Global Services, and Gateways. It fosters collaboration among GISCs, reviews AoR management and performance, develops WIS2 operational procedures, oversees the migration from WIS 1.0 and GTS to WIS 2.0, proposes updates to key WIS manuals (WMO 1060 and 1061), facilitates training, and liaises with ET-W2IT and ET-W2DP to ensure a coherent and effective WIS 2.0 implementation.
