The Expert Team on Space Systems and Utilization (ET-SSU) under SC-ON and supported by the WMO Space Programme Division, guides and supports the space-based component of WIGOS. It reports progress, advises on satellite systems and their applications, develops and reviews guidance materials, assists Members in accessing and utilizing satellite data, supports capacity-building and training, coordinates on satellite data management, collaborates on frequency protection and calibration, and engages with international space agencies and initiatives to enhance global satellite observations.
