The Scientific Advisory Group for GAW Urban Research Meteorology and Environment (GURME) is dedicated to advancing the application of meteorology and atmospheric science in tackling urban air quality challenges. It promotes the development of research and operational tools that integrate information on air quality, weather, and climate to help cities manage pollution, respond to climate change, and safeguard public health. In addition, GURME encourages international collaboration and capacity-building efforts to support the development of sustainable and resilient urban environments.
