Scientific Advisory Group on Applications

The Scientific Advisory Group on Applications operates within the broader GAW modelling framework, which encompasses multiple SAGs and expert groups while acknowledging their distinct modelling requirements. It focuses on applications that rely on near-real-time (NRT) data at scales beyond the urban level, including the development of boundary conditions for local models, as well as the enhancement of modelling capabilities and services related to dust, volcanic ash, biomass burning plumes, and health-related applications.
