The Steering Committee of Integrated Global Greenhouse Gas Information System focuses on identifying and assessing the evolving needs of stakeholders and policymakers regarding measurement-based greenhouse gas emission estimates, in order to guide scientific progress and future information delivery. It supports the development of best practice guidelines and research strategies aligned with IG3IS objectives, as well as their regular updates within the IG3IS Science Implementation Plan. In addition, the committee gathers and synthesizes outcomes from projects that successfully demonstrate the implementation of IG3IS principles.
