The Scientific Advisory Group on Aerosols aims to implement the GAW aerosol measurement programme to characterize the spatial and temporal distribution of aerosol properties relevant to climate forcing and air quality, across multi-decadal time scales and spanning regional, hemispheric, and global domains.
