This project will advance science and products that support users such as water-resource managers and food-security actors. Sub-seasonal to seasonal information relies on coupled atmosphere-ocean-land systems that track monsoons, atmospheric rivers, snowpack, water storage, and fine-scale land processes. It may also address drought and wildfires. Probabilistic forecasts are central, and effective communication with users is essential, especially for slow-onset hazards.
